Research of relevant fashion/styling associated with genre

The usual pop magazine that I am going to make usually has the girl pop music stars, most of these have not many clothes on. They are shown in a more sexual way. On these types of magazines, there are typically on girl, in the centre of the page, showing her skin either, just her arms and legs, or parts of her body that normally aren't seen e.g. chest, stomach etc. I think I will use this in my magazine, by making sure that my model has a little skin showing, but not as much as these covers.
Most pop girls like to dress up on their photo shoots, this is relevant for most of my examples below. Girls usually have their hair down as it shows their sexuality as having long hair, blowing around is typically seen as being sexual.
The poses that the girls do are normally very sexual, a lot of them not smiling at all. Over the should looks and the use of their arms are used a lot. As the girls do not smile very often, the open mouth is used a lot. This is where the girls stand with their mouth open just a little, this shows sexuality as their mouth is plain, the viewer will look at their eyes, which is more than likely pointing straight at the camera.
